I Have Rejoined the World
There is nothing that compares to seeing pages load after almost ten days without Internet access. Even the knowledge that I have 60 emails that require replies and almost 500 unread items sitting in my RSS reader can’t dent that feeling. Ten days felt like an eternity, damn it; I have gone without the Internet for longer, but those periods were definitely voluntary—this was not.
May none of you ever experience the frustration of a faulty cable modem and an incompetent replacement. More soon.
