My Cable Modem Requires an Exorcist
I’m in desperate need of a technological diviner. First, nothing Internet-related was working. Then, AIM started working. Then, AIM stopped working, and the only thing that loaded in a browser was the Washington Post. And then we were back to nothing working. And now, some things are working if you slap them really hard, but my RSS reader and Quicktime movies are stubbornly not among them. And Movable Type will only load if I click my heels three times and pray that Six Apart will never move to Kansas.
Expect posting and email to be infrequent for the next few days, people. Until the cable modem and/or my ISP start behaving themselves, I don’t think I’ll be online much; the messages and stories—promised or otherwise—will just have to wait. Sorry.
