There are days when nothing gets done—when the entry you’re trying to write doesn’t come close to what you’re trying to say, when you can’t bring yourself to do laundry, when you’re tired of reviewing notes for your exams. So you go online to read the news, and eventually find yourself so disgusted at the state of the world that you just can’t bring yourself to care about trying to do work anymore and spend the rest of the afternoon going aimlessly from site to site.
